Clean Lakes Alliance
Class: Journalism 425: Video Journalism
Completed: Individually
Goals: Learn more about the water quality of the lakes in Madison, while also emphasizing the Freeze Contest as a way for the community to become more involved and educated
Struggles: The audio was a huge difficulty because it was extremely windy by the water. This caused me to position Sarah with her back to the wind. I also adjusted the volume of the audio and cut out really loud gusts before submitting the project
Successes: I felt the information I learned and included in the video was very important and can help others care about water quality
Takeaway: Connections can be incredibly valuable when contacting someone for an interview
